My story

Abby is a twelve-year-old, 58-pound lab that was found wandering and picked up by Animal Control. The poor girl has been through a lot, and being in an outdoor kennel at the shelter during all the storms didn’t help. A local volunteer took her in and brought her to her house to get her out of that situation. She also took her to get vetted today, but unfortunately, she can’t keep her long-term. She is fine with dogs and cats, and we think she will become stronger and more mobile as the arthritis medication starts to take effect. We are also treating chronic dermatitis and ear infections, which will also make her more comfortable. We need a permanent foster for Abby, and we hope that someone out there will open up their heart and home to give this sweetheart a little goodness in her life.
