My story

Meet Aurora (5yr old German Shepherd) and Aries (1yr old practically still a baby Lynx pt Siamese). Their story is amazing. I bet you didn't see coming! A one of a kind BONDED PAIR! This duo is one like we have never seen! We have never seen a pair SO PERFECT!! Aurora is a 5 year old German Shepherd, who absolutely adores her brother cat Aries - a fancy Siamese. Housetrained fully vetted and great with other pets and kids and EVERYONE... Our rescue shelter partner reports, "Aurora and Aries were brought to us due to their owner passing of cancer - they were her therapy pets and in her will she wanted the duo to forever stay together. Sadly they were left at a kill shelter with no options but RnR stepped in to take them immediately into foster.. Aurora and Aries have a bond that is unbreakable and we would LOVE to keep these sisters together! When we let Aurora come up from her kennel to see Aries, you can see her face light up as she goes to give her feline best friend kisses and love! We knew it was a bond so agree they must be together forever. Both are housebroken/litter box trained, both spayed neutered, great with children, and have been indoor only animals - Aurora obviously goes outdoors but did not get tied out or left outdoors only! We know adding a dog and a cat to the family can seem very stressful and overwhelming, but this pair will do nothing but make your home a better place! We know that a bonded pair like this might be a little hard to place, but we know for a fact the family who decides to open up for these two will have the fullest hearts! After all, two is ALWAYS better than one!" These two GORGEOUS beauties are such an amazing pair - sweet as they come! They are love each other but will also fast bond to you - loving you like no others. Please help us get them to go to their forever home and show you just how much love a family can give! They are able to go separate as they are not bonded but also do great as a pair - both options available. DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO ADOPT THIS WEEKEND - PLEASE READ COVID and ADOPTER and SHOPPING LIST protocols for advice prior to adopting SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY - ADOPTERS UNDER 23 yrs old MUST HAVE GUARDIAN/PARENT COSIGNING. If you want to apply - please go to our application at https://rnrpets.org/dog-application/. If you have additional questions please contact us via TEXT ONLY NOOOO CALLS to 9146885499 or email at rocknrescue1@gmail.com. They are all vetted spayed vaccinated per age microchipped and tested. And ready for love! They are also available to adopters from out of state in the Northeast and is located here in Bedford Hills NY! Long distance adopters MUST pick up here sorry no shipping!
