MAX - “Sweet Bunny” *NEEDS IMMED FOSTER*

My story

MAX  is a 2 yr old, 14 lb Tan/White Chihuahua Mix. He’s a  darling little boy with a soft soul and the most adorable “bunny ears” that stick up like he's ready to fly! He was sadly found abandoned in an apartment building in NYC, but despite everything he’s been through, he’s remained sweet, loving, and eager to connect. Max is easygoing and friendly , though he can be shy and a bit skittish when first meeting new people. But give him a little time, and he’ll warm right up—becoming your loyal little shadow and full-on Velcro dog . He bonds quickly and wants to be wherever you are. He’s good with kids but because he’s shy, he would do best with older kids ages 12 yrs+. He’s good with most dogs but would probably do best with one his size, preferably easygoing and female. He tends to be protective over his toys so best if he was a SOLO dog so he can get ALL the attention. He’s housebroken , walks nicely on a leash, and is a great little apartment dog overall. Max is cratetrained but if left alone confined to a room, he can be a bit destructive. He also has some separation anxiety —he may cry, whine, or bark a bit when you leave, but he’s not an incessant barker . Because of this, he’s best suited for someone who’s home a lot, has family around during the day, or has a doggy companion to keep him company. Max is a jewel of a dog —quiet, cuddly, and full of love. He just needs someone to believe in him and help him shine. And with those ridiculously cute bunny ears , he’s guaranteed to bring smiles wherever he goes. If you’re looking for a CO-PILOT in your life adventures and a BFF for life.. MAX is the one!!!
