My story

#A5703366 Meet Marsh , our tiny, velvety caramel princess with marshmallow-dipped feetchies and a heart full of love! This 2-year-old Chihuahua may be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her sweet and curious personality shines through. She lives for cuddles and will happily snuggle up in your lap, making her the perfect pint-sized companion. Marsh would be a wonderful match for a senior or a family looking for a low-key, affectionate buddy. She’s great on leash, potty trained, knows her basic commands, and seems interested in other pups - so she could be a lovely addition to a multi-pet home, especially with the right introductions. Bring Marsh home and gain a loyal, cozy little shadow who just wants to love and be loved! -2 year old brown and white short haired Chihuahua -13 pound spayed female -may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before you can take her home, but the shelter can likely help with this! -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 5/30/25 as an owner surrender, but we have no notes and no idea why, as Marsh is a perfect angel! -perfect petite princess with a velvety caramel coat and marshmallow dipped feetchies -shy but sweet at the shelter, but when she warms up and feels safe, her playful, curious side shines bright!  -loooooves to cuddle and snuggling close to her people, seeking comfort and affection -pint sized lap warmer that will always keep you company - could be an excellent fit for a senior or family looking for a lower energy companion -great on leash, potty trained, and knows basic commands, plus could be a good pup sibling to other pets you may already have - seems interested in other dogs MARSH’S VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/JSqnl35eaiU For more information, contact volunteer Lisa at lisaa@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed above. Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting the rescue.  June 12, 2025, 3:56 am
