My story

Location: St Paul, MN Meet Zeus! 🐾 Zeus is a playful, energetic puppy full of love, curiosity, and tail wags. Still in his teething phase, he has base narrow canine teeth, so he’s enjoying fun ball therapy to help out. Though his nibbles aren’t sharp, he does like to chew — so toys are great for redirection! This happy pup is making great progress with potty training. He usually uses pee pads when inside, though he can have the occasional accident if he gets too excited (especially when company visits). Until he's fully trained, it’s best to keep him in non-carpeted areas during social time. Zeus is great with nail trims, baths, and taking meds, and he’s learning quickly with the help of enrichment toys and games. He’s vocal during play, especially with other dogs (hello, Husky genes!), but a quick 5-minute kennel break helps him settle right down. Just make sure it’s a secure kennel — this little escape artist isn’t a fan of wire crates! He absolutely adores people, dogs, and kids. He’s a cuddler, a social butterfly, and loves attention. He’s still learning not to jump up and may nibble gently from teething, but he responds well to redirection. On leash, he walks well with minimal pulling, and he’s a huge fan of toys — especially the ones that keep his busy brain and teething mouth occupied. Zeus is around 25 inches long (neck to tail), 33 inches from nose to tail, and stands about 18 inches tall at the shoulder. He’s still growing into those big puppy paws, and with a little guidance and lots of play, he’s going to make an incredible lifelong companion! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
