My story

Meet Poseidon - an adorable big boy ready for his forever family. Poseidon's journey to ANM started with being in a county foster home where he was doing great. County had requested his return where he was due to be put on the E-List without a deadline. With a committed and willing foster, we couldn't see him potentially lose his life. He has now been in his foster home for six months. His foster has nothing but great things to say about Poseidon and wishes someone would come scoop up this hunky boy! Poseidon loves his people, always trying to snuggle up with on the couch or cuddle in bed. At night, Poseidon loves to be tucked into bed (sometimes even tucking himself in) and he sleeps like a rock next to you all night. He's a wiggly boy who will never turn down pets, kisses or hearing how good of a boy he is. He loves to go on car rides, especially if you stop for a pup cup, and will take every chance he can to stick his head out of the window. Poseidon is potty and crate trained. Poseidon loves to run laps around the yard with his bigger foster brother or lay around with the older dachshund in the home. Poseidon is dog friendly with proper introductions, loving to engage in play but also be independent. Despite being a younger dog, Poseidon is actually very calm and enjoys hanging out with you on the couch more than anything. If you have a bed, are ready to give pets and dreaming of cuddle buddy - you’re ready for a Poseidon in your life!
