Maximus

My story

Maximus, a 7 year old male Lhasa Apso Mix who was lovingly surrendered by his owner in hopes of finding him the perfect forever home. Maximus is a sweet and gentle soul who enjoys the simple things in life—especially a warm dog bed to curl up in. He is diabetic and requires daily insulin, but he takes it like a champ and continues to thrive with proper care. Maximus is great with kids and would make a wonderful, mellow companion for a family ready to give him the love and support he deserves. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. Sometimes exceptions are made in a particular situation for an adopter further out than 30 miles which is at the discretion of the director.
