My story

Introducing Sadie! Sadie is an affectionate, playful, yet mellow 2 yr. old Siberian Husky who weighs 49 lbs. She is an indoor dog that enjoys yard time chasing lizards and squirrels, playing tug of war, chasing tennis balls and playing with other dogs her size. Indoors, she enjoys playing by herself with durable non-squeaky toys and chewing on chew sticks. Otherwise, she simply enjoys the companionship of family, resting on her bed, or on the couch if allowed. At bedtime, Sadie likes her own comfortable bed, the owner’s bed, or a crate if necessary. Sadie knows to sit, stay and shake on command. She will bark or talk when she needs to go outside for potty breaks. Sadie is leash trained with a walking harness. She starts out walking fast, thereafter tends to be more of a sniffer and explorer of nature. She also rides well in the car. Sadie does need to be fed separately from other dogs or she will eat their food. When her meal is being prepared or when she hears her leash and harness come out, she will talk or bark in excitement. She does not bark for no reason. Sadie gets frightened by loud sounds and will look to her owner to investigate. She will not bark. She does not like loud vehicles, like garbage trucks. She reacts by engaging her owner for reassurance. Sadie requires a 5 to 6 foot fenced yard. If you’re looking for a fun loving and polite canine companion, apply today to meet Sadie.💗🐾 Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/ When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started. You could be a life saver! Help us save more lives by fostering a dog or cat. If you live in the Prescott Az area please go to our website unitedanimalfriends.org and learn more about fostering!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sadie (Courtesy Listing), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
