Vander

My story

A28404 Vander is a black and white colored, approximately 3-year-old, 9-pound, spayed female, Domestic Short-Haired Cat. She entered the shelter as a stray on 06-05-2025 and was not reclaimed by her unknown owner. Vander is a friendly, but timid and shy girl here in the shelter. She stays on the shelf in the back of her kennel watching the room. She seems a bit overwhelmed by the shelter environment and why she is here. She will need a patient owner who will go slow and give her love and time to decompress. Our staff describes her as a sweet girl who loves affection, she just needs to know she can trust you. In the playroom she went and found a cubby to sit back in and watch the room. Loud noises startle her right now. We would recommend a home with no small children as their noise and excitement might be too much for her right now. Vander will be a loyal, loving companion in her new forever home.
