My story

Meet Sassy! Sassy is an 11 yr old German Shepherd. She came in to us with her brother, Sarge. Unfortunately, their owner passed away. The family could not take them and their neighbor was more than willing to keep them, but her landlord said they were just too big. She is a very chill and relaxed older lady. She just needs a comfy bed to rest on and a yard to roll in and to go to the bathroom. She is not high maintenance at all! All she asks is that her brother can come with her since he gets very nervous in new situations and she brings him comfort. These two have lost their person and the only home they have ever known. Senior dogs make wonderful companions and would love a place to call home with their new person or family! They used to have play dates with other dogs when they were younger. They have been wonderful with kids and lived with a cat!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sassy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
