My story

Bluegrass is at our Bucktown Adoption Center (2144 N. Wood St.) You can visit our Adoption Center at any time during open hours, no appointment needed. Bluegrass is: Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized More about Bluegrass: Housebroken: Yes! Crate trained: Doing well overall, after taking a short time to settle initially Leash walking: He is still getting used to city noises and can tend to pull after small critters, but has otherwise been doing well overall! Dog social: Yes! He lives with a resident dog in his foster home and has been doing well. He is playful yet respectful. He has shown some possessiveness of high-value treats, so space should be given when enjoying a treat around other dogs. Cat social: Unknown Kid friendly: He has done well in brief interactions with kids on walks Bluegrass likes: - Playing with a ball, or a dog pal - Enjoying frozen carrots, as a health snack - Being with his person Bluegrass is the sweetest pup who just wants belly rubs and lots of hugs. He is a doll of a dog that would make any one’s days a bit softer. He has done well with other dogs and kids, and is generally a happy-go-lucky kid learning to gain confidence and enjoy his new life in Chicago! He will make his new family very happy!
