My story

A5702448 Meet Conner , a 1-year-old Siberian Husky - like a delectable dollop of sweet, fluffy whipped cream in doggo form, with dazzling ice-blue eyes! &#226&#157&#132&#239&#184&#143This energetic, athletic boy lives for playtime and is especially thrilled when there’s a ball involved - his favorite toy. And Conner is as smart as he is handsome - he already knows commands like sit and shake, and he’s eager to learn more with the right guidance. He’s the goodest of boys at heart but will thrive best with a strong, confident handler who can help him channel his excess energy through dedicated training and plenty of adventure. Conner would make an amazing hiking, running, or outdoor buddy - he's always down for some action or exploration! He’s a strong puller on leash for now, so continued leash work will help him become the best version of himself. With a little time and effort invested in training basics and burning off some steam, you’ll be rewarded with a fiercely loyal and deeply devoted companion of a lifetime. Come take Conner home today!       - 1 year 1 month old black and white Siberian Husky - 58 pound neutered male - may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before he can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this! - came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 5/27/25 as a stray - delectable dollop of fluffy whipped cream in pup form, with beautiful frosty blue ice chip eyes - energetic, athletic, and playful - adores romping around with his people, especially when a ball is involved! - very smart as well - knows several basic commands, like sit and shake/paw, but could easily learn more with the right motivation, as he is attentive and eager to please - a very good boy, arguably the goodest of boys, but will need a strong handler that will take the time to train him appropriately and help him burn off his excess energy - would be an excellent exercise buddy - like running or hiking - or any adventure you'd like to share together! - strong boy that pulls some on leash, which may be a bit challenging for more petite folks - could use more leash work to be his best self   CONNER’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/PgGl For more information, contact volunteer Lor at  lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org Photo Credit @ bellabernhardt    Look up this or other animals at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center https://animalcare.lacounty.gov/view-our-animals/    Use their unique ID NUMBER.
