My story

#A5696900 Meet Roger , a 2-year-old Briard mix and living, breathing Muppet with a heart as big as his scruffy smile! This fluffy charmer is the perfect mix of cuddly and active - just as happy snuggling on the couch as he is romping on a trail. Roger adores giving kisses and will gladly trade them for belly rubs! He’s also wonderfully social with other dogs (he even came in with another pup who might be his dad - Steve-O !) and is calm, attentive, and super easy to handle. Great on leash, knows commands like sit, stay, shake, and down, and shows signs of being potty trained – he’s the full package deal. If you’re looking for a sweet, versatile companion with movie-star good looks, Roger’s your guy!   -2 year old brown and black Briard mix -73 pound neutered male -may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before he can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this! -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 5/4/25 as a stray -absolutely mesmerizing muppet of a pup - fluffy, scruffy, and with the most charming smile -equal parts affectionate and athletic - perfectly suited for both laid back snuggles and active adventures -looooves to give kisses and receive belly rubs in return -gets along smashingly with other pups - friendly and appropriate, and came in with another dog suspected to be his father - A5696899 Steve-O -calm, attentive to his people and easy to handle - good on leash, shows some signs of potty training, and knows several basic commands, like sit/stay/shake/down https://youtube.com/shorts/8GgTQXmAU94  For more information, contact volunteer Lisa at lisaa@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed above. Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.June 11, 2025, 5:17 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt ROGER, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
