My story

**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to NJ for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Alphie is a two year old mixed shepherd breed who is an absolute kid loving cuddlebug! He was picked up as an injured stray by a good samaritan that surrendered him to a vet for his injuries. The vet took him to the shelter which put him on the immediate euthanasia list. He was out of time and out of hope. The good samaritan found out that he was in grave danger and agreed to foster him if our rescue would save him...and that's exactly what we did and Alphie is now ready for his forever home! Alphie is great with children of all ages and loves other dogs as well. He has not been cat tested. He had made great strides in his training...mastering basic commands and improving his leash walking skills daily. He is also house trained and crate trained as well. Alphie is a delightful blend of playful energy and cozy companionship. He thrives in the great outdoors, loves adventures and sun bathing! Despite his rough beginning, Alphie has a zest for life and love. He deserves to be with a family that appreciates both his playful and tender sides! Interested in becoming a forever home for Alphie? We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
