Sasha is spayed, potty trained, and quiet in her kennel—an all-around good girl with a heart of gold. Sasha absolutely adores people and lights up with wiggly excitement every time she sees her favorite humans. She’s a belly rub connoisseur and loves giving hugs—she’s the kind of dog who soaks up every ounce of affection you offer and then gives it back tenfold. She’s a total social butterfly, getting along wonderfully with both big and small dogs, and she even loves bath time and car rides (seriously, how adorable is that?). Sasha has proven herself to be a true survivor and an incredible mama, having given birth on a cold stainless steel floor in the shelter and raising her babies with grace and love. Now it’s her turn to be the one who’s cherished. Sasha would thrive in a home where she can be spoiled, loved, and cherished—where she’s treated like the loyal companion she is, with a cozy bed and a forever family to call her own. Just days before giving birth, this beautiful mama was surrendered to the shelter—her dreams of a safe, cozy home to welcome her babies shattered. Instead of a warm bed, Sasha brought her 10 tiny pups into the world on a cold, stainless steel kennel floor. Despite everything, Sasha has been nothing short of amazing. She’s a gentle, sweet girl with a heart full of love. She knows basic commands, is food-motivated (treats, anyone?), and she loves to give the most heartfelt hugs. Sasha has even politely met other dogs—though when it comes to her babies, she prefers her own space, like any protective mama. Now, Sasha and her 10 little ones wait patiently in the shelter, dreaming of a soft place to land. What they need most is a cozy maternity suite or a loving foster to give them the safety and comfort they deserve during these precious early weeks. Sasha's not just a great mama—she’s a happy girl at heart who enjoys cooling off with a good splash in the kiddie pool and wagging her tail through it all. We will continue to update their profiles with information and photos to better represent them! We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have animals at our office, and not all animals attend adoption events. To coordinate a meet and greet with a specific animal please contact us! We can only finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better, it takes time to review and approve applications! We host adoption events almost every Saturday from *11:00 AM to 2:00 PM* around the Fort Collins community!
