My story

Nirvana is one rocking cat!Nirvana came to Tabby’s Place from a large colony situation where he did not have much interaction with humans. Though he can be timid, Nirvana will let you pet him if you approach slowly. While he hasn`t yet shown signs of enjoying attention, such as leaning in or purring, he also hasn’t acted aggressively toward his visitors. We believe that with more socialization, Nirvana could warm up to humans. Simple gestures like offering food or speaking softly can go a long way in making Nirvana feel more secure around humans.While he still isn`t sure about our affections, Nirvana has grown much more comfortable in our presence. He will often jump onto the table in our community room when meetings are happening, or keep a close eye on our staff at their desks. He also loves to play, and can often be found batting around a jingle ball or toy mouse back and forth across the room. Nirvana would do best in a quiet, laid-back home with other cats who can help him feel more comfortable. In his previous home, he became accustomed to other cats and now enjoys hanging out with his roommates.Nirvana is looking for a patient adopter who will work at his pace during socialization.
