My story

Meet Huckleberry! This elegant little gentleman is a Heeler/Pyrenees mix with the perfect blend of playful energy and sweet, snuggly charm. Born on April 14, 2025, Huckleberry came to us with his five siblings and quickly stood out with his graceful demeanor and soulful eyes. He’s a bit more refined than his rowdy siblings—until the puppy zoomies hit! Then it’s full-speed sprints around the yard, joyful pounces, and silly spins that will have you laughing out loud. After he’s gotten all that energy out, Huckleberry is all about the snuggles. He loves curling up beside his people, resting his head on your lap, and soaking up every bit of affection. He’s incredibly sweet, observant, and already starting to learn the ropes in his foster home. Huckleberry would thrive in a loving, patient family who can enjoy his goofy zoomies and also appreciate his softer, cuddle-loving side. Currently fostered in Texas, Huckleberry is ready to find his forever home where he can shine as both the playful pup and the snuggly sweetheart he was born to be. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas, Colorado, or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
