My story

Animal Profile:  Kyra is an estimated 8 week old female, Chihuaha mixed puppy joining us from Texas on Monday, 6/09. Kyra and her siblings have been in a Texas foster home after being found with their mom, Letty. Unfortunately a couple of their siblings were killed by other strays. Kyra and her siblings were bottle fed for 3 days while their mom recovered. They are now all healthy and happy waiting for their ride to the PNW. Foster Update: Meet Kyra! She's a spunky little girl who's ready to join her forever family! She has been settling in nicely, still getting used to her crate but quick to settle down. Has only had a couple accidents in her crate and has been amazing about going outside right away. Is doing great around a small and medium sized dogs but would also be fine as an only dog. Likes to play with toys and likes food. Everyone who meets her falls head over heels, would make a great addition to a family ready to love her.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization.
