My story

Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue SWEET AND GENTLE CALICO Meow! My name is Mamma Mia. My estimated date of birth is 6/01/2022. I am a very sweet and calm girl with a beautiful calico coat! I love receiving attention, but I am in no way demanding about it: I will allow you to approach me, but once you begin petting me, I can't get enough! I am friendly and enjoy meeting new people. I enjoy being picked up and held, and I may even reveal to you my great purr! I am very relaxed--I would make a great lap cat or snuggle buddy! I am extremely gentle and even-tempered. I am quiet. I am adaptable and adapt quickly to unfamiliar situations. I would do best with an adopter who is kind, gentle, and quiet. I would make a great pet for a senior citizen. I still need to be temperament tested with other cats. I would do best with older, considerate children, as I can be skittish at times. I do not have experience with dogs. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info.
