My story

Meet Rooster! This older gentleman is looking for a calm retirement home to call his own. Rooster came to us as a stray along with his younger "brother", and we are still getting to know him. Rooster seems to have been a farm dog or otherwise left undersocialized, so he can be a little overwhelmed in the shelter environment. He is starting to open up though, and once he gets comfortable in his furever home he is sure to be your best friend. Rooster would prefer a home with more calm and respectful dogs, or to be the single star of the show. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Rooster home.
