My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog H:1Seraphina is a 1-year-old, 52-pound pup with the kind of gentle charm that melts hearts. Though she may be shy at first, a little patience (and a few treats) unlocks her affectionate, playful side. Once she feels safe, she’s all cuddles, kisses, and tail wags! On a recent field trip, this sweet girl shined. Seraphina calmly enjoyed the car ride and soaked up all the sniffs on her walk. She’s enthusiastic on leash, curious and social but easy to redirect when needed. Treat-motivated, she showed off her “sit” and is eager to learn more. As gentle as she is lovable, she leaned into snuggles on a park bench and politely greeted a toddler. In playgroups at the shelter, Seraphina enjoys a relaxed, chase-style play. She would thrive in a home with a friendly dog companion or as a solo pup with doggy playdates. If you're looking for a calm, cuddly, and quietly joyful companion, Seraphina is your girl!
