My story

Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue CHARISMATIC AND COOL Meow! My name is Flapjack. My estimated date of birth is 1/22/2023. I'm sure to melt your heart--I'm handsome, charming, and confident. I am lovable and have a lot of love to give! I enjoy being petted. I will rub against my cage and meow at you, trying my best to stay patient for your attention. I am a big goofy guy and am sure to make you laugh. I am curious and like to explore new places. I can get overstimulated at times, and need an owner who will be able to respect my space when I need it. I need time to adjust to new environments--I came into the rescue very sad and defensive, but over time, the volunteers worked to build my trust, and now I actively seek out attention. I am good with other cats. I would do best with older children who are able to understand that I sometimes need time to myself. I do not have experience with dogs. I am at the Kitty Corner, ready to find my special person!Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info.
