My story

Meet Flynn Flynn came to us in 2024 as a little pup who barely made it out the shelter with his siblings. We were so happy he was adopted, but just a few months later…he was surrendered to a kill shelter unbeknownst to us. Luckily, the shelter had the heart to contact us to let us know he was surrendered. They also informed us he was the next to be euthanized. Flynn either has a lot of good luck or a lot of bad luck. He’s barely missed being killed in the shelter TWICE! Flynn doesn’t deserve the hand he was dealt. He’s a great dog with a lot of loyalty and love to offer his person. What we learned since he’s been returned is, he would probably do best as an only dog. He loves playing with them…but he doesn’t like sharing his possessions. He would need a very knowledgeable owner if you plan to adopt with another dog. He loves to run , play, and lounge on the couch next to you. His foster describes him as a very good dog. Flynn is still a baby at only a year old, so there is always room for improvement and training. He’s smart and has the drive to want to learn. He picked up on the doggy door less than 2 hours of being introduced to one. He does love children and grew up around them. We have never tested him with cats. If you would like to meet our Flynn, please submit an application https://animalsfirst.com/shelter/animal-profile/66b954c3bf28ecca4c04af26

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Flynn, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
