If you’ve been looking for the perfect Hershey’s Kiss of a pittie pup, then look no further than my sweet friend, Harper! She is a stunning little lady with the most gorgeous chocolate coat and affectionate soul. She has a medium energy that is perfect for playing at the park and cuddling on the couch. She is a dream girl of a doggo and she is ready for her forever family to find her! We believe that Harper is a pittie mix that is around 3 years old and weighs approximately 30 pounds. Due to her being a rescue, age and breed cannot be guaranteed. But one thing is for sure, this girl needs to enter the puppy beauty pageants because she is such a gorgeous little baby! Check out this pretty girl here: https://youtu.be/f7hwf_lax5Q Harper is currently being fostered in a home with other dogs and teenagers. This is great because she is already getting used to what life is like in a home setting! Her foster brags about how well she does when she is in her crate and how nicely she plays with her foster siblings. When Harper walked on the property, all the behavior tech’s immediately began their “aweeeeees” and “OH MY GOSH SHE IS SO CUTE!” So get prepared to be flooded with affirmations on how cute your new dog is when you show her off around the neighborhood and cool coffee shops you go to together! Harper is very dog friendly! When she met some of the dogs at our property, she immediately took to each one of them! We had various high energy and low energy males and females out with her and she became instant besties with Aurora, a medium energy pittie girl. We believe that Harper would do best in a home with another dog similar to Aurora’s personality. A medium energy pup who likes to run and play but also loves to chill and snuggle. She didn’t meet any cats while she was with us, but her foster says that she is very very interested in the cats that pass by in the neighborhood. We are going to say that it’s best that Harper doesn’t live in a home with cats. But if you have a cat and would like to know how she reacts, feel free to let us know and we will check it out for you! Harper lives with older teens and adults and loves all the affection she receives! Her foster’s best friend brings younger children around her often and Harper plays well with them also! We believe that Harper would do well in a home with older dog savvy children that know how to interact with canine companions! Harper is a perfect size for an apartment or home lifestyle. If she were in an apartment, she would need an owner that is devoted to taking her out for daily walks so that she can get the exercise needed for a medium energy pup like herself. If she were in a home, she would need a backyard that has a sturdy fence. Don’t let her petite size fool you, she has major hops! Harper will make the best friend for her new family! She is extremely treat motivated and already learning new tricks! I can definitely see her thrive in a family setting and wholeheartedly devote all of her love to those who choose to love her. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time. https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
