Willow

My story

Willow is a total sweetheart - a loving, affectionate pup who enjoys being close to her people—whether it’s for a walk, a cuddle, or a cozy nap. She’s calm indoors but full of playful energy when it’s time for fetch (which she’ll even play solo by tossing the ball for herself, which is very endearing!). She gets along with dogs and children - we don’t know about cats; she’s very interested in the cats in her foster home. Willow is house trained, and is making great progress with crate training and leash walking. She rides well in the car. She’s still learning basic commands but eager to please and quick to adapt. She’ll thrive in an active home that gives her plenty of outdoor time and chances to sniff, explore and meet new friends. In return, you’ll get a devoted companion who is equal parts playful and cuddly. HISTORY Willow came into IAR with her housemate Bruno from a community member who could no longer care for them. HEALTH Willow is a healthy girl and is up to date on her vaccines and preventatives. PHYSICAL Willow has the classic beauty of a black-and-tan hound, shiny teeth and a great smile.
