My story

Meet Rosie — a Great Pyrenees mix with the soul of a gentle giant and the instincts of a barnyard supervisor. Rosie thrives with another dog in the home to help show her the ropes — think of them as her emotional support roommate and life coach. She`s happiest when she has some four-legged company and a bit of land to stretch her legs. A farm or homestead would be her dream gig — she takes her self-appointed job as “puppy nanny” very seriously and is wonderfully nurturing with younger dogs.Rosie is working on the basics. She`s doing well with house training but will rely on another dog to help her understand your household schedule. She’s learning “sit,” “come,” and “leave it,” and while crates aren’t exactly her jam yet, she’s giving it an honest try. She’s not a water fan (don’t even say the word “bath”), and car rides are still a work in progress. On the plus side, she walks nicely on a leash and lights up with praise like you just handed her a gold medal. Now, let’s talk personality. Rosie is 90% love bug, 10% unintentional wrecking ball. She’s the type to wedge herself right next to you on the couch like a 100-pound lapdog and accidentally take down a lamp on her way. She`s sweet, snuggly, and great with kids — though due to her size and “oops, did I do that?” energy, she’s probably a better match for kids over 6.If you’ve got dogs, a little space to roam, and a soft spot for lovable goofballs with big hearts, Rosie might just be your girl.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt ROSIE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
