Boomer

My story

This handsome brindle boy is Boomer. He is listed as a mixed breed and when I consulted my dog scanner app, it suggested Boxer, Plott Hound and Mountain Cur in the breed mix, He weighs 67 pounds, is about 3 years old and has the most beautiful soulful brown eyes. Every time he turned those sweet eyes on me, I melted! I would describe him as an energetic, enthusiastic, confident and outgoing fellow. When I met him in his kennel he seemed downhearted. However, when I took him to the yard, he brightened up and became lively. He walked well on a leash. He may be house trained as he did his business immediately in the yard. There are two things Boomer is crazy about--playing with tennis balls and receiving treats. Though he doesn`t seem to know the sit command, he caught the treats I offered in his mouth--in my opinion a very cool sweet skill. This spunky tail-wagging boy is playful and entertained himself--and me--by chasing and throwing tennis balls in the air. He likes attention and was happy with me petting him.
