My story

Meet Nettie! She recently had her very first Dog for a Day outing—and she stole the hearts of everyone she met. Though shy at first, she gently opened up and showed her incredibly sweet and affectionate nature. She loved spending a quiet day with her host family, enjoying the comforts of a shaded backyard, cozy den rugs, and gentle pets from her new human friends.She explored calmly in the yard, preferred lounging in the shade or indoors, and appreciated soft voices and a calm environment. Nettie walks well on leash with a bit of excitement and settles beautifully once back inside. She was especially fond of being petted while curled up on a fluffy rug, and did wonderfully with the whole family, including two teens.Nettie is a gentle pup who thrives with kindness and patience. She’s looking for a calm, loving home where she can continue to blossom and feel safe. Her Dog for a Day friends adored her and are cheering her on to find the forever family she deserves.
