Adoption Fee: $700Meet Jelly Belly! 9 week old Border Collie mix Sweet, social, and snuggly Currently in a foster home and thriving Jelly Belly may have had a rough start— dumped at a shelter at just six weeks old— but this joyful, resilient pup hasn’t let that dim his spark. Since coming into foster care, he’s grown into a confident, affectionate, and hilarious little guy with a heart full of love and a personality that keeps everyone smiling. Jelly starts his day around 6:30 AM, has meals at 7:30 AM, noon, and 5:45 PM, and loves spending his days romping around the yard with his foster siblings (a 2-year-old and a 9-year-old dog) or playing king-of-the-toys in his oversized dog bed. He’s also met a wide range of other dogs— big, small, young, old— and made friends with them all. He gets along great with the family’s cat too, always respectful and never chasing. While he hasn’t been out in public yet due to vaccinations, Jelly has already learned to use the doggy door and is well on his way to being potty trained. He sleeps in his crate at night (with just a little protest), but after his middle-of-the-night potty break, he happily joins his people in bed. He loves to snuggle and will even tuck himself into a closet for a cozy nap if he needs a little quiet time. Despite his young age, Jelly has shown great self-awareness and emotional intelligence—he knows when to turn the charm on and when to chill. Like any puppy, Jelly is in a teething phase and will happily chew on toys, bones… or occasionally your ankles. Luckily, he’s easily redirected and already learning his manners. He barks occasionally, but only when he wants something— like attention, a toy, or help hopping onto the couch. And while he’s not a big digger, he has done a little gardening now and then. Jelly has been around kids from ages 4 to 20 and charmed them all. He’s energetic, playful, whip-smart, and full of heart. He would thrive in a home with other pets, children, and lots of activity—a place where he can keep growing into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. Why adopt Jelly? Because he’s the kind of dog everyone falls in love with. He’s funny, expressive (those eyes!), well-socialized, and full of joy. His foster family says it best: “If we didn’t already have two dogs, we would’ve kept him ourselves.” Adopt Jelly Belly and bring home the sweetest mix of fun, fluff, and affection you could ask for.
