Moriah

My story

"Moriah takes a while to warm up but LOVES going outside. She let me leash her easily but it took a good 10 minutes of coaxing and petting to get her to the play yard. At one point I briefly picked her up to go through a doorway, which she tolerated, but I wanted her to walk to the yard herself to get more acquainted with the hall. She would wag her tail fast but crouch down in a nervous puppy manner. Once in the yard, Wow! She lit up very quickly and started bouncing around. So much play bowing and sniffing, she liked to weave in between my legs for pets. She scratched a lot, I figured her skin is still itchy, but it didn't slow her down. She zoomed for about 10 minutes and came to me for frequent snuggle breaks. She was polite to other dogs who passed our yard and went up to people to greet them. She was easy to leash but again took a very very long time to get to her kennel. She is nervous going through doorways or onto different flooring, and would freeze unless I picked her up or coaxed her for a very long time. She went back into her kennel just fine and started eating her kong." - MAS Staff Member
