My story

My name is Shemp and my brothers (Moe & Curly) and I were named for the 3 Stooges.  My foster mom says it's not because we are goofy but just because we such a fun group.  We were rescued from a home in Shadowlake where the owner was moving  and PAWS-OK came by to rescue our mom who was having ANOTHER litter.  When the nice lady from PAWS-OK saw us, she knew we would likely become unfixed neighborhood toms so she said she would take us too.  She also could tell we were way too friendly to be safe as neighborhood cats.  I love to pay with my brothers and would like an active family with other cats/dogs/kids to play with. PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008.  All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home.  We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes.  Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age.  A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours.   If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK  for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form.  Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days.  If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center.  If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation.  Thank you for looking at our available cats and kittens.  If you have any questions, please reach out for us at pawsokrescue@gmail.com.   June 9, 2025, 9:32 pm
