Duchess

My story

Duchess is a beautiful solid white 10 year old female who is looking for a new home with an owner who can give her plenty of attention.  She is pretty big right now but might slim down just a bit with a little restraint on her owners part and a proper feeding schedule.  She loves to rub on her humans and purrs like a small engine.  Is she deaf?  She doesn't respond well to verbal cues but that may be just because she is a cat lol! She was adopted from us by a single guy in March 2015 who's schedule grew to be so busy, that it didn't allow a lot of time for her. PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008.  All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home.  We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes.  Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age.  A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours.   If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK  for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form.  Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days.  If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center.  If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation.  Thank you for looking at our available cats and kittens.  If you have any questions, please reach out for us at pawsokrescue@gmail.com.   June 9, 2025, 9:32 pm
