My story

Burger (aka Stoney) – Joyful, Playful, and Always Ready for AdventureMeet Burger—though her foster family affectionately calls her Stoney, and it seems to suit her sweet, curious nature. She’s a ball of joy who gets along with just about everyone she meets—dogs, humans, and all the energy in between! This is what her foster parents have to say about her: Burger is a social butterfly and definitely more of an adventurer than a couch potato. She loves long walks, romping in the rain, and yes—she has a soft spot for avocados (don’t worry, her foster is keeping it safe). She`s also both house and crate trained and knows commands like sit, paw, and kennel.At the dog park, Burger shines. She reads the room well—if things get too rowdy, she simply flops over and lets the chaos pass. In her foster home, she spent time with two golden doodles and fit right in. She does like to play with her mouth when excited, but she`s never been nippy—just expressive.While she’s friendly and affectionate, Burger can be a little shy when meeting men for the first time. But once she warms up, she adores anyone and everyone. She`s a curious, nosy pup who thrives with attention, praise, and a bit of structure to channel her happy energy.If you’re looking for a dog with a sweet spirit, playful charm, and a heart full of love, Burger’s waiting to meet you.Burger is located at Companion Animal Alliance! CAA is open for adoptions Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
