Herbie

My story

      Meet two year old Herbie the Love Bug. Herbie is a 6lb 'Chorkie' - Chihuahua and Yorkie and he's here for the cuddles! Herbie will be your quiet companion wherever you want to go. You want to work in the garden? - he's happy to join you. Afternoon nap? - GREAT! Time to make dinner? - he'll keep you company.  Herbie likes to play fetch in the yard with his foster siblings, and he likes to chew on his toys. But more than anything he loves to cuddle - with his siblings and with you! He doesn't require a lot of exercise, but he does love to go for a walk around the block! He is crate trained. (sometimes he disappears into his crate when he wants some alone time) And he's housebroken. He barely makes a sound, but when he does he has the cutest scratchy old man bark!  He's scared of big dogs, and he's scared of big, tall people. (We think if his primary person was bigger, he'd get used to them quickly) We think Herbie would prefer a quieter pace of life. And he really does love having siblings near his size and temperament. He has met kittens and seemed generally uninterested . He seems to like kids, but too much energy is overwhelming for him... so that is something to consider. Herbie is up to date on all of his vaccinations. He is not yet neutered but he will be before final adoption papers are signed, and this won't prevent him from going to his furever home before then. (In his foster home, he's shown no behavioral problems like marking or humping) Adopters should live in the general Rochester area in order to complete his vetting in our network.
