Meet Samuel – Smart, Social, and Ready to Wow You with His Big Personality! 🐾🧠 Samuel is a confident, curious young dog with a big brain and an even bigger heart. He’s playful, people-oriented, and absolutely lights up when he’s learning something new. Whether it’s puzzle toys, scent games, or agility basics, Samuel thrives on mental stimulation and would love a home that will keep his clever mind engaged. He enjoys playdates with his dog friends, but his enthusiasm can be a bit much at first, so slow and measured introductions are best. Like many adolescent dogs, Samuel is in a mouthy phase. It’s a normal part of growing up, especially in a shelter environment, and he’s already showing how eager he is to learn with the right structure and guidance. To help him continue to grow into his best self, we ask that his adopter commit to working with a positive reinforcement trainer—we’re happy to help connect you with someone local. Samuel would do best in a dog-savvy adult or teen home where he can have consistency, enrichment, and lots of love.
