My story

Say hello to Gizmo, an 8-month-old Australian Shepherd mix with a heart full of joy and a tail that never stops wagging! This happy-go-lucky pup is the definition of friendly—he loves meeting new people and is always up for a playdate with his canine pals. Gizmo’s energy and enthusiasm are contagious. Whether he’s chasing toys, exploring the outdoors, or just romping around with other dogs, he does it all with a big smile and a playful bounce. He’s outgoing, affectionate, and always ready for his next adventure—especially if it includes some quality time with his favorite humans. If you're looking for a fun, loyal companion to share life’s adventures with, Gizmo is your guy! Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.
