My story

This adorable Labrador Retriever mix is the perfect blend of playful energy and sweet snuggles. At 15.2 lbs, and a date of birth around March 11th, Squirt is making great progress with house and crate training—though like any young pup, he’ll need continued guidance and consistency as he grows. Squirt is your classic happy puppy: he loves romping around the yard, playing with his canine foster siblings, and going for walks. Toys and bones are his favorite, and after a fun play session, he’s quick to curl up for a cozy cuddle on the couch. His foster mom describes him as friendly, outgoing, curious, and very treat-motivated—he already knows how to sit! While he hasn’t been around kids yet, his gentle, social nature suggests he’ll do well with respectful little humans. His minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
