My story

Here`s Nala`sMeet Nala – A Gorgeous, Gentle Soul Looking for a Quiet, Loving Home ??Nala is an 8-year-old beauty with dazzling green eyes and a cloud-white coat — but what truly sets her apart is that she’s deaf.Deaf cats like Nala experience the world a little differently. They rely more on their other senses — sight, touch, and smell — and can be just as affectionate, playful, and loving as hearing cats. In fact, many deaf cats form incredibly strong bonds with their humans because they learn to trust and communicate through routines, visual cues, and gentle touches.Nala is wonderful with people — calm, cuddly, and confident. When she first arrived in her previous home, she wasn’t anxious at all. She adjusted quickly and made herself right at home. ??Unfortunately, Nala is back with us because she didn’t get along with the resident cats. This may be due to being startled by them — other cats are naturally stealthy, which can be confusing or stressful for a deaf kitty who can’t hear them approaching. Because of this, Nala is looking for a home where she can be your one and only feline queen. Why consider adopting a deaf cat??? They’re just as trainable (visual cues work great!)?? Often calmer and more comfortable in quiet homes?? Great companions for people looking for a low-drama, loyal friend?? Nala, especially, has a heart full of love and a serene presence that will brighten your homeHelp us find Nala the purr-fect forever home — where she can enjoy peaceful naps, cozy cuddles, and all the love she deserves. ???? Come meet her today and see how special a bond with a deaf cat can be.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt NALA, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
