My story

MEET SAILOR!Ahoy, mates! With a name like Sailor, it`s no wonder this high-energy cat loves adventure! Ironically, Sailor`s person was going overseas for an extended time; thus, Sailor ran aground and became homeless. In his previous home, Sailor had access to safe outdoor space, so he is accustomed to this routine. Described as playful, a `free spirit` and independent, we think Sailor is best matched with an experienced cat person who can meet his need for freedom of movement, but also keep him safe. For example, a screened-in porch or catio might be just the ticket for this fun-loving young boy. Sailor also loves to sing the song of his people - he meows frequently, especialy if he wants something. If you think Sailor might float your boat, come to Dedham! We can almost promise that Sailor will be on the lookout for you, as he`s anxious to embark on his next journey!Sailor is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.For more information on Sailor or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
