My story

Horatio is a distinguished gentleman with a strong personality and a heart full of loyalty. At 8 years old, he was found as a stray, but it’s clear he’s known the comfort of a home before—and he’s ready to have that again.Horatio is up to date on all his vaccines, microchipped, and looking for a calm, committed home where he can enjoy his golden years in peace. Horatio prefers to be the only canine in the home.He’s smart, observant, and has a quiet confidence about him. If you’re looking for a mature companion who knows what he likes and is ready to settle down, Horatio may be the perfect fit. He is keeping his kennel clean and spotless, waiting to potty outside, which indicates he is likely housetrained. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
