You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Mrs. Kekoa! She is about 1 year old and was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina. She's been through a lot of changes in the past few weeks - from being in a scary shelter, to a foster home in NC, then transported across the country to us. She took a little bit to decompress, but now she is greeting us at the door, enjoying being pet and just being a sweetheart of a kitty. She is very calm and gentle. She is wonderful with the other kitties she is being fostered with and is very motherly towards the kittens. She enjoys lounging on the cat tree or gazing out the window. She has a long fluffy tail and an easy coat to maintain. She loves her canned food and gets so excited at dinner time, running right over! She is perfect with using the litter box, does not scratch anything or have any bad habits. She has been a joy to foster! She'll make a wonderful addition to your home! This cat is spayed, up to date on distemper and rabies vaccinations, dewormings, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is on flea/tick preventative and ear mite preventative. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a 'Cat Adoption Application' at www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms Adoption fee is: $200Can’t adopt? Consider donating! Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up 'curb side'. Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. * DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption: Initial vet visit Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)Distemper vaccinationSNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart wormBroad spectrum dewormers Monthly flea/tick preventative Ear mite preventative The above is standard for ALL cats in our care.
