My story

Peggy Sue is a 3-4 month old brindle terrier mix with a personality as bold as her beautiful coat! She’s playful, curious, and full of puppy energy—ready to explore every nook and cranny of the world around her. Whether it’s chasing a toy or discovering a new smell, Peggy Sue dives in with enthusiasm and joy. She’s a friendly, social girl who plays well with all dogs and has a naturally submissive, gentle spirit that makes her a great fit for just about any pack. She’s already starting to learn that potty time happens outside and is eager to please her humans. Her current challenge? The crate. Let’s just say Peggy Sue has big feelings about being shut in. Despite best efforts (yes, even peanut butter Kongs), she’s not a fan just yet. But she does eat and sleep in her crate when her foster is nearby, and with time, patience, and consistency, we believe she’ll learn to see it as a safe and cozy place. Peggy Sue is looking for a loving, patient adopter who can guide her through puppyhood and give her the training, structure, and cuddles she needs to thrive.
