My story

If you are looking for a kitty with unique markings and an even more unique personality, look no further than Celia! This little lady came to AHS in May 2025 as a stray and is ready to find a forever home who will love her, quirks and all. Celia likes to hide a little bit of a mischievous and wild streak behind that cute face of hers and certainly would love a home who will have plenty of ways for her to get that energy out! If there is one thing staff and volunteers have learned it is thar Celia gets a little too overstimulated when she is pet near her tail or when her tail is touched, and at this time, any sort of pets should stay closer to her head. Celia does love attention, though, and always gives a happy little meow when she sees human friends. Between lickable treats and toys, Celia hasn't quite decided what she likes more but is absolutely a big lover of both! Celia is a rambunctious girl and unfortunately hasn't really paid too much attention to the other cats in our care. When she is out and about from her cage she is more excited to check out the shelter's cat trees and any little spots she can squirm herself into. We would certainly be happy and willing to try her in a home with any potential furry friends of all sorts! Even though Celia is extremely sweet and can be very cuddly, she does potentially get a little too chompy for young human friends. This is a behavior that could change in her forever home, especially when she has more time to run around and play. Stop in and visit with Celia if you would love to give this mischievous kitty her forever home! Celia is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
