My story

Meet Tulip 🌷 Tulip has known very little kindness in her life. Born and forgotten—growing up without the simple comforts most dogs enjoy: gentle affection, a cozy place to sleep, or even consistent access to clean water. Because of that, Tulip is understandably cautious around new people. But she’s not without hope—she watches the other dogs around her and takes comfort in their confidence, slowly learning that the world doesn’t have to be scary. Tulip is a petite girl, weighing around 25–30 lbs, and we estimate she’s between 6 and 8 years old. She’s been in survival mode for far too long, and it’s time she learns what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family. Tulip is looking an adopter—who will be patient and kind, someone who understands that she’ll need time to adjust to this new life she’s only just beginning to experience. She would do best in a home with another calm, confident dog and a securely fenced yard where she can explore at her own pace. Tulip may be shy now, but with love and stability, we know she’ll blossom. Could you be the one to help her grow?
