My story

Daisey is a 1-year-old, loving girl looking for her forever home! This cutie pie is a sweet and spicy girl with strong opinions and a deep desire to snuggle her human. She's a fan of peace and routine, objecting to dogs and people who shift position when she's sitting next to them. This avid biscuit-maker always uses her kitty box, has never made a mess, doesn't knock stuff off shelves, loves to investigate whatever you're holding but won't try to eat your food! She's low maintenance and high love, wanting nothing more than neck scratches and to yell at you for taking a shower. Daisey is highly intelligent and would benefit from socialization to help her feel less reactive and scared. When she comes out of her shell, she is adorable and loving! This pretty stripey girl loves curling up and napping by her people or following them from room to room to investigate whatever they're up to. She doesn't have specific exercise needs; she’s happy just to keep an eye on things! Daisey may occasionally charge toward you and throw paws when she feels scared, but she’s “bappy “rather than bitey—just making sure you understand her demands that you respect her boundary. Daisey’s current foster home is a house with one adult woman, two teens, and an old dog. She likes peace and quiet but may be open to more stimuli once she feels socialized and comfortable. Daisey wants to be the center of attention and to feel safe. She's simultaneously bold and a little nervous, so she should be in a home that's calm and predictable—where she can wander around (inside only, please!) to her heart's content. Small children and lots of activity/noise probably won't work too well unless she feels extremely comfortable already. This beautiful girl is so eager to settle into the cozy indoor life. She just needs a compassionate home where she can establish a routine and learn to gain confidence and trust. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow-up visits.
