My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Underwent heartworm treatment Meet Lydia! This gentle sweetheart is looking for a loving forever home where she can share her cuddles and quiet companionship. Lydia is friendly, though she tends to be a bit shy around men at first—but give her time, and her affectionate nature will shine through. We aren’t exactly sure what Lydia’s breed mix is, she’s a terrier of sorts and weighs around 40 pounds. Her age is estimated to be around 6 years old   She’s lived with both cats and dogs, and even teens, and gets along well with all of them! Lydia is crate-trained but can also be trusted to roam the house freely. Whether she’s curled up at your feet or following you quietly from room to room, her calm, loving presence is sure to steal your heart. If you're looking for a soft soul to snuggle with and share your days, Lydia may be the perfect match. Please note that Lydia has recently completed heartworm so she will require monthly heartworm preventative that is given year round. If you would like to meet Lydia, please submit an adoption application for consideration through our website, Adopthope.org. Lydia’s adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccines and preventatives. Lydia is seeking a home as an indoor dog only, our adoption process requires that applicants have a history of ah ing kept any previous pets altered, kept current on vaccines and annual vet care and kept as indoor pets only. Our adoption process includes a vet history check and a home visit.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 8, 2025, 10:55 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lydia, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
