My story

***LOCAL ADOPTER NEEDED (within 50 miles of Apex, NC) as this dog still needs to be spayed and complete her heartworm treatment at our partner vet in Apex! *** I am about 2 years old and fully grown at about 45lbs. I am a mama who raise an orphaned litter – read about my story on the Peak Lab facebook. I am now enjoying learning about day to day living with a human family. I will be your family’s best friend, actually I am literally anyone’s best friend. I could be your running buddy, your couch buddy, your travel buddy, your kid’s buddy and another dog’s buddy. I like my runaround, but have also found sleeping in on a Sunday morning and basking on the deck in the sun is very enjoyable. With my short hair with no undercoat, I have a low shed rating, but I may need to be accessorized with a cute coat on winter walks. In short, I am a good natured, go-with-the-flow dog, who is playful and loves a good snuggle. I am well-behaved, potty outside, ride well in a car and sleeps on my bed at night. I am learning about leash walking and basic commands, but I have come a long way in a short time. I am excited to meet other dogs and love to play. I enjoy running around the back yard with toys and balls. I love a good run (I am fast) and going on walks. I have been tested with cats and although I am not aggressive, I am not recommended for a house with cats. I am up-to-date on my vaccines. Peak Lab will cover the scheduling and cost of my spay and heartworm treatment.
