Persephone (sweet panther kitty)

My story

Persephone was dropped off at a local farm outside of Palmyra.  She was wearing a collar that looked like it was very old.  She was friendly with everyone and the finder wanted to see if she would be adoptable.  She came into rescue on May 24th  and has adapted very well.  She does not attempt to leave the house at all, but does enjoy watching out the windows.   Persephone has been checked out by a vet and is very healthy.  It is believed that she is about 4-5 yrs old.  She was spayed prior to coming into care as she has a scar on her belly.  She is currently living at a foster home in Palmyra.  She lives with other kitties and 3 dogs, she gets along with them, however, she would also be fine as an only kitty.  Persephone loves to spend her days looking out the windows at the birds and snoozing in her cat tree.  She loves chin scratches and is always good for a few head bumps.  She has not been around small children, but I think she would make the perfect kitty for a young teen or college age child.   Persephone's adoption donation is 115.00  and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, and microchip.
