My story

Hi, I'm Yonce. I'm still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. I'm a young German Shepherd who was abandoned in my home, and that experience left me scared and unsure of people. Right now, I'm very shy and undersocialized, but I'm trying - one small step at a time. I'm looking for a quiet, patient home where I can take things slow and come out of my shell on my own terms. I'm not ready to show you who I really am just yet - my true personality is still tucked away behind my fear - but I believe with time, kindness, and consistency, I'll get there. If you have another calm, respectful dog, I think that would help me a lot. A confident canine friend could show me the ropes and help me feel more secure. Older, quiet kids (14+) are okay too - as long as they understand I need space and time. I know I'm not the easiest case, but the reward of helping me show my true colors will be absolutely worth it! I just need someone who sees not just who I am now, but who I can become! Ask to meet me at the shelter and see if you may be the one to make me finally feel safe and loved!
