My story

This lovely lady is Phoebe! She arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 5/29, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. The volunteers describe Phoebe as friendly, happy, and attentive to the people around her. She also knows several basic commands. Phoebe is approaching her senior years, so if you're looking for a calmer dog who doesn't require hours of play time in the yard or super long walks, please come her! She'll be a fantastic new BFF for someone looking for a more chill dog to share their heart and home with. Phoebe is approximately 7 years old and weighs 59 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Phoebe is waiting patiently in run 28; her ID # is 10413. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
